Recent Badass Woman of the Week, Jaymie Bianca of Bristol, revealed to Christine and Salt last week that she is raising money for her new charity, OpportunAbility. She told the 96.5 TIC morning team, "I'm raising money to benefit Opportunability, a 501 c3 nonprofit dedicated to providing opportunities for people with physical and intellectual disabilities. This summer, we are raising funds for adaptive baton twirling and dance classes, and our summer mentorship program for women."

Christine and Salt were so moved by Jaymie's commitment to helping others that they couldn't wait to present her cause to their own charity's board, Rise and Shine Connecticut. Guess what!? Rise and Shine CT's board unanimously agreed to support OpportunAbility with a $1000 donation! Take a listen to the full interview below.
